About Vedi Chai

Rooted in Vedic tradition, brewed for the modern day.

Our Story

Vedi Chai was born in a small kitchen in Pune, from a recipe that has moved through three generations of one family. Our grandmother believed chai was never just a drink — it was a daily ritual of care, a small act of healing passed from hand to hand. She blended her own spices every week: cardamom cracked fresh, ginger sun-dried on the terrace, cinnamon bark broken by hand. When we set out to bottle that memory, we made one promise to ourselves — never compromise on what goes into the blend. Today, Vedi Chai is made in small batches using the same principles: whole herbs and spices, sourced from trusted Indian farms, roasted and ground close to the day they're packed, with nothing artificial ever added. The name 'Vedi' comes from 'Veda' — knowledge — because we believe every cup should carry a little of the ancient wisdom that inspired it. What started as a family ritual is now a blend we're proud to share with yours.

Our Mission

To make authentic, Ayurveda-inspired chai accessible to every home, without ever cutting corners on quality or tradition.

Our Vision

A world where the daily cup of chai is once again seen as a small act of wellness — natural, intentional, and rooted in the wisdom of Ayurveda.

Our Sourcing Philosophy

We work directly with small tea estates in Assam and Darjeeling and herb growers across India to source whole-leaf tea and unadulterated spices. Every ingredient is inspected in-house before blending — no powders, no dust-grade tea, and no artificial flavouring agents ever enter our blends. (Sourcing details are illustrative placeholders — update with your actual suppliers and certifications.)
